Angelina takes over Cruise role

Yahoo Movies reported: After Tom Cruise dropped out of the title role in an action thriller originally called “Edwin A. Salt,” he was replaced by Angelina Jolie. The script was rewritten — including changing the character’s name to “Evelyn” — and next July you’ll get to see Angelina proving she can lead a movie as well as any man in “Salt.”

That is awesome. I love that Angelina took over a role written for a man. I also like it when good actors are cast color blind, like when Morgan Freeman was cast as Red in The Shawshank Redemption, even though the part called for a red-headed white man. And he kicked that role’s ass, so hopefully Angelina can do the same!
